songwriters

Wendell has been writing songs for over twenty years and has been affiliated with BMI since 1998.

He has had moderate success with his songs being contest winners, being performed on stage in clubs, and receiving some radio airplay along with a number of publishing deals.

Wendell had two lyric sheets that were filed away for a number of years. The first being "computer Destruction" (1998) and the second being "Black Dungeon" (1992). In 1999, after hearing some music samples from Sonic Soup Studio he said to himself "that's the sound I've been looking for". So after rewriting his lyrics he contacted John Paynter to see if he would be interested in collaborating and a few years later both songs appeared on the "Jokerz Wild" CD.

Currently, Wendell has been co-writing with songwriter George LaFlame and he is back in the studio working on a solo project.

He has also just finished his latest recording, Road Rage. He had help with the recording from drummer John Cleary and producer Jeff Stachyra from Nuclear Studios.

Wendell writes various styles of songs including, but not limited to, country, rock, pop, dance and gospel.
