Stare into the eye of the wolf
A soul bright and shining in the moonlight
Feel the panting of the run
Muscles flexing toward destiny

Across the frozen tundra
The mighty Lone Wolf roams
The forest is his kingdom
The mountain is his throne
He is a mighty hunter
The king of his domain
Though few have understood him
All have come to fear his name

Then comes the white-eyes
With a fire-stick in his hand
He brings a plague of plunder
That leaves its scars upon the land
Wolf calls out for his brothers
But no one hears the song
The great bear and the eagle
And the buffalo are gone

He longs for crystal waters
That once flowed long ago
And the once majestic landscape
That used to be his home
Many years have passed
Since the moment of his birth
And soon his time will come
To return to mother earth

The Lone Wolf’s bones grow weary
And his body’s growing old
His eyes are filled with sadness
As he turns to face the cold
The fire burns no longer
This warrior’s day is done
His life is but a memory
But his spirit still lives on

Stare into the eye of the wolf
He watches you
